Admission requirements

If you are a transfer or graduate student, Strayer University will request transcripts on your behalf from the colleges and universities that you have attended, as noted on this application.

If you are an international student applying for an F-1 (student) visa, once you are accepted at Strayer University, you must also submit the following documentation and fees as determined by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. Transfer students and those applying for change of status to F-1 have additional documentation requirements. More information about these requirements will be provided upon admission.

  • $300 tuition deposit
  • USCIS fee
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions Documentation of financial support
  • Proof of English ability
  • Emergency contact form

Upon arrival in the United States:

  • Copy of entry stamped I-20
  • Copy of entry stamped I-94 (front & back)
  • Copy of U.S. visa
  • Copy of passport photo, name, & expiration pages
